Section 9-9-2 Definitions. Whenever used in this article, the following words and phrases shall
have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) NOTICE BY PUBLICATION. Unless otherwise specified, such notice shall consist of publication
once in each of three consecutive weeks (three insertions) in some newspaper having general
circulation in the county or counties wherein the land in the water management district is
located, the last insertion to be made at least 15 days prior to the date fixed for the hearing
of said notice, and it shall not be necessary that the publication shall be made on the same
day in each of the three weeks, but not less than 14 days, excluding the day of the first
publication, shall intervene between the first publication and the last publication. When
a district includes lands in two or more counties, such notice shall be published in each

Section 11-48-103 Notice to property owners of division of assessment. In all cases where assessments
may be split or divided as authorized in this article, notice to owners of the property covered
by such assessments or to their agents shall be given, either in person or by mail, where

Section 11-81-11 Sale. All bonds issued under the authority of this chapter shall be sold at
public or private sale as the governing body of the municipality or county may determine.

Section 11-88-45 Publication of resolution and mailing of copies thereof to persons last assessed
for taxation on property which may be assessed for improvement. The said resolution must be

Section 14-2-16 Bonds - Sale. Bonds of the authority may be sold at such price or prices and
at such time or times as the board of directors of the authority may consider advantageous,
