Section 11-44C-30 Revision and codification of ordinances, bylaws, and resolutions; comprehensive zone map. The council may provide for the revision and codification of its ordinances, bylaws and permanent resolutions, or for the adoption of a code or codes by ordinance. Such code or codes and the revisions or amendments thereof may relate to the whole system of city bylaws, ordinances and permanent resolutions, or may relate to that portion of such ordinances, bylaws and permanent resolutions which relate to, affect or purport to govern any particular subject of municipal legislation. Section 11-44E-3 Election of commission and mayor; term of office. (a) The expense for all elections shall be paid by such city. The mayor and all commission candidates shall qualify as provided in Sections 11-44E-71 and 11-44E-72, respectively, and shall have the qualifications and eligibility set forth in this chapter. After the passage of the resolution, notice of a public hearing on the matter shall be given by certified mail, return receipt requested, mailed 30 days prior to the date of the hearing and shall inform the owner of the time, date, and place of the hearing and the reason for the hearing.
