Section 45-39A-13 Police and fire departments under civil service. The Board of Commissioners
of the City of Florence is authorized and empowered at any time subsequent to September 25,
1997, to put into force and effect an ordinance or ordinances governing the police and fire
departments of the city as provided in this part; but this part shall have no effect excepting
as an authority for the City of Florence to take such action. The police department and the

Section 11-98-4 Board of commissioners. (a) When any district is created, the creating authority
may appoint a board of commissioners composed of seven members to govern its affairs, and
shall fix the domicile of the board of commissioners at any point within the district. In

create the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission. (b) The purpose of the interstate

Section 13A-10-60 Definitions. (a) The definitions contained in Section 13A-10-1 are applicable

(a)(1) Upon the expiration of the current terms of office of Tax Assessor and Tax Collector
of Mobile County, or if a vacancy occurs in either office prior to the expiration of the current
terms of office, there is hereby created the office of County Revenue Commissioner in Mobile
