Section 11-103-1 Authorization of payment by credit cards. (a) The use of credit cards
for any payments made to a county or municipal office, department, agency, board, or commission
may be authorized by the county commission or municipal governing body in which the office,
department, agency, board, or commission is located as provided in Section 11-103-2,
and if authorized, shall be accepted pursuant to rules and regulations promulgated by the
county commission or municipal governing body in which the office, department, agency, board,

Section 41-1-60 Acceptance of credit card payment. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision
of law to the contrary, any officer or unit of state government required or authorized to
receive or collect any payments to state government may accept a credit card payment of the
amount that is due. This section shall only apply to departments, agencies, boards,

as provided in Section 11-65-4, a commission shall have the powers and duties necessary

Section 22-27-3 Authority of local governing bodies as waste collections and disposal;
household exemptions; state regulatory program. (a) Generally. (1) The county commission or
municipal governing body may, and is hereby authorized to, make available to the general public
collection and disposal facilities for solid wastes in a manner acceptable to the department.

Section 45-35-160.01 Payments by credit card. (a)(1) The use of credit cards for any
payments made to a Houston County department, agency, board, or commission may be authorized
upon approval by the Houston County Commission as provided in subsection (b), and if authorized,

this chapter as a participant in the public corporation or individually, to adopt upon reasonable

section, it is the intention of this chapter to occupy by preemption the field of air
pollution control within all areas of the State of Alabama. However, nothing in this section
