Section 8-26B-5 Registration as athlete agent; application; requirements; reciprocal registration. (a) An applicant for registration as an athlete agent shall submit an application for registration to the Secretary of State in a form prescribed by the Secretary of State. The applicant must be an individual, and the application must be signed by the applicant under penalty of perjury. Section 32-6-49.24 Disqualification of person convicted of crime requiring registration as a sex offender. (a)(1) Effective July 10, 2010, except as otherwise provided by this subsection, a person convicted of a crime that requires registration as a sex offender under Chapter 20A of Title 15, formerly Article 2 of Chapter 20 of Title 15 is prohibited from driving a commercial motor vehicle that requires a commercial driver license with a P or an S endorsement. Section 22-40A-14 Scrap tire environmental fee. (a) A scrap tire environmental fee shall be collected at the point of sale from the consumer on replacement tires, whether or not the tires are mounted on a rim or wheel, in the amount of one dollar ($1) per tire, and shall be remitted to the Department of Revenue on a monthly basis. Out-of-state tires, such as fleet tires, not purchased in the State of Alabama must be returned to the point of origin for disposal or the scrap tire environmental fee shall be imposed for each tire brought into the state and must be remitted to the Department of Revenue. In addition, the scrap tire environmental fee shall be collected on a retreaded casing replacement tire when sold to a consumer.
