Section 17-5-5 Statement of organization; notice of termination or dissolution. (a)
The treasurer or designated filing agent of each political action committee which anticipates
either receiving contributions or making expenditures during the calendar year in an aggregate
amount exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000) shall file with the Secretary of State or the
judge of probate as herein provided in Section 17-5-9, a statement of organization,
within 10 days after its organization or, if later within 10 days after the date on which
it has information which causes the committee to anticipate it will receive contributions
or make expenditures in an aggregate amount in excess of one thousand dollars ($1,000). (b)

Section 10A-9A-3.06 Person erroneously believing self to be limited partner. (a) Except
as otherwise provided in subsection (b), a person that makes an investment in an organization
and erroneously but in good faith believes that the person has become a limited partner in
the organization is not liable for the organization's obligations by reason of making the
investment, receiving distributions from the organization, or exercising any rights of or

Section 35-12-71 Definitions. As used in this article, unless the context otherwise
requires, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this
section: (1) APPARENT OWNER. A person whose name appears on the records of a holder

organizational documents. (a) On or after January 1, 2016, a homeowners' association created
pursuant to a declaration shall be organized as a nonprofit corporation pursuant to Chapter

or any arrangements or other facts described have changed, making the application for registration
