Section 10A-1-1.03 Definitions. As used in this title, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms mean: (1) AFFILIATE. A person who controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another person. Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. Section 10A-2A-14.14 Election to purchase in lieu of dissolution. (a) In a proceeding under Section 10A-2A-14.10(a)(2) to dissolve a corporation, the corporation may elect or, if it fails to elect, one or more stockholders may elect to purchase all stock owned by the petitioning stockholder at the fair value of the stock.
