Section 41-10-754 Powers of the authority. The authority shall have, in addition to all other powers granted to it in this article, all of the following powers: (1) To have succession by its corporate name until dissolved as herein provided. Section 45-37-90.04 Civic Center Authority - Powers; officers; contracts; conflicts of interest. (a) The power of the authority shall be vested in and exercised by a majority of the members of the board of directors. The board may delegate to one or more of its members or its officers, agents, and employees such duties as it may deem proper. The board of directors shall elect a vice chair of the board, who shall serve as chair in the event of the chair's absence. The board of directors shall also elect a treasurer and a secretary.
