Section 10A-20-3.03 Changing of corporate name. Any annual conference that has heretofore been
incorporated by an act of the Legislature of Alabama and desires to change its name or any
corporation created under this article desiring to change its name may file with the Secretary
of State a declaration in writing, showing the proposed amendment, and must pay the Secretary
of State the filing fee required under Section 10A-1-4.31 to be paid to the Secretary of State
for filing a certificate of amendment, whereupon the Secretary of State shall issue to the

Section 10A-20-6.06 Altering, amending, or changing certificate of formation. The corporation
may change its corporate name, the location of its principal office, or make other alteration,
amendment, or change in its certificate of formation, as may be desired in the following manner:
(1) Its board of directors by a majority vote thereof, either in person or by proxy, at any
regular meeting of the board, or at any special meeting called for the purpose, shall adopt

Section 37-7-21 Amendment of certificate of incorporation. A corporation created under this
chapter may amend its certificate of incorporation to change its corporate name, to increase
or reduce the number of its directors or to change any other provision therein, provided,
however, that no corporation shall amend its certificate of incorporation to embody therein
any purpose, power or provision which would not be authorized if its original certificate,

Section 10A-20-3.01 Formation of ministers into body corporate. Whenever 10 or more ministers
of the gospel or of any other religious faith or denomination desire to be legally formed
into a body corporate, they shall file with the Secretary of State a declaration in writing,

Section 37-6-7 Articles of incorporation - Amendment. A cooperative may amend its articles
of incorporation by complying with the following requirements: The proposed amendment shall
be first approved by the board of trustees and shall then be submitted to a vote of the members
at any annual or special meeting thereof, the notice of which shall set forth the proposed
