Section 41-10-351 Definitions. The following terms hereafter used in this article shall have the following respective meanings: (1) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this article. (2) BONDS. The bonds issued under the provisions of this article. (3) COMMISSIONER. The Commissioner of Mental Health. (a) An insurance policy or contract providing for third-party payment or prepayment of health or medical expenses shall include a provision for the payment to a supervising physician for necessary medical or surgical services that are provided by a licensed physician assistant practicing under the supervision of the physician, and pursuant to the rules, regulations, and parameters for physician assistants, if the policy or contract pays for the same care and treatment provided by a licensed physician or doctor of osteopathy. Section 35-8A-316 Lien for assessments. (a) The association has a lien on a unit for any assessment and any other moneys due the association for special assessments or services or charges, such as water or repairs, levied against that unit or fines imposed against its unit owner from the time the assessment or fine becomes due. The association's lien may be foreclosed in like manner as a mortgage on real estate provided the declaration is in conformity with Article 1A of Chapter 10 of this title and subject to the rights under Article 14A of Chapter 5 of Title 6.
