Section 11-50-268 Application to Public Service Commission for determination as to terms of acquisition; hearing; issuance of order by commission as to terms, conditions, etc., of acquisition. If acquisition of the property sought to be acquired by the waterworks board is not consummated under the provisions of Sections 11-50-266 and 11-50-267, the waterworks board before proceeding to engage in the proposed business shall take such steps as may be provided in this division. Section 45-8A-22.122 Proof of marriage and parentage. (a) When the spouse or children of an active or retired participant shall be entitled to benefits under the plan, such spouse or children shall make, or cause to be made, an application to the retirement board through the secretary-treasurer which shall demonstrate (1) proof of the marriage of such participant to the spouse or (2) the ages of the participant's children by birth certificate or other competent evidence, as the case may be. (a) No person, acting directly or indirectly or through or in concert with one or more persons, may acquire control of a state bank or of any corporation or other entity having control of a state bank, unless an application is filed with the superintendent for review of the proposed transaction and for his or her action, if any, as provided in this section. Section 36-26-27 Dismissals and disciplining of employees generally. (a) An appointing authority may dismiss a classified employee whenever he considers the good of the service will be served thereby, for reasons which shall be stated in writing, served on the affected employee and a copy furnished to the director, which action shall become a public record.
