Section 5-17-8 Reports to Administrator of Alabama Credit Union Administration; powers of administrator. (a) Credit unions shall report to the Administrator of the Alabama Credit Union Administration at least annually on or before January 31 in such manner and form as required by the administrator for that purpose. Additional reports may be required. Credit unions shall be examined at least every 18 months by employees of the administration or by other persons designated by the administrator. For failure to file reports when due, unless excused for cause by the administrator, the credit union shall pay to the State Treasurer five dollars ($5) for each day of its delinquency. Section 10A-3-5.03 Approval of merger or consolidation. (a) A plan of merger or consolidation shall be adopted in the following manner: (1) If the members of any merging or consolidating nonprofit corporation are entitled to vote thereon, the board of directors of the nonprofit corporation shall adopt a resolution approving the proposed plan and directing that it be submitted to a vote at a meeting of members entitled to vote thereon, which may be either an annual or a special meeting. In the case of a conversion of a corporation the plan of conversion shall be adopted in the following manner: (a) The plan of conversion shall first be adopted by the board of directors.
