Section 10A-17-1.14 Summons and complaint; service on whom. In an action or proceeding against
a nonprofit association, a summons and complaint shall be served on an agent authorized by
appointment in Section 10A-17-1.11 herein to receive service of process, or on an officer,
managing or general agent, or person authorized to participate in the management of its affairs,
or in any manner otherwise provided in the Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure. If after reasonable
efforts to accomplish service through these methods, service cannot be accomplished, then

Section 35-11-454 Release, etc., of lien. (a) Whenever a notice of lien has been filed with
the office of the judge of probate and a condition occurs that would preclude the broker from
receiving compensation under the terms of the broker's written agreement, the broker shall
record a written release or satisfaction of the lien, in the appropriate records of the office

Section 34-1-14 Hearings; judicial review. (a) Commencement of proceeding. The board may initiate
proceedings under this chapter either on its own motion or on the complaint of any person.

(a)(1) The State Board of Medical Examiners on its own motion may investigate any evidence
which appears to show that a physician or osteopath holding a certificate of qualification
to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Alabama is or may be guilty of any of the
acts, offenses, or conditions set out in Section 34-24-360. As part of its investigation,
the board may require a criminal history background check of the physician or osteopath. In
such event, the physician or osteopath shall submit a complete set of fingerprints to the
State Board of Medical Examiners. The board shall submit the fingerprints provided by the
