Section 5-26-3 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply: (1) DEPOSITORY INSTITUTION. The term "depository institution" has the same meaning as in Section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, and includes any credit union. (2) FEDERAL BANKING AGENCIES. The term "federal banking agencies" means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Comptroller of the Currency, the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, the National Credit Union Administration, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. (3) IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER. The term "immediate family member" means a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. Section 10A-1-5.34 Resignation of registered agent. (a) A registered agent of any entity required by Section 10A-1-5.31 to designate and maintain a registered agent or registered office may resign as the registered agent by giving notice to that entity and to the Secretary of State. (b) Notice to the entity must be given to the entity at the address of the entity most recently known by the agent.
