Section 10A-1-5.08 Name of professional corporation. The name of a domestic professional corporation
or of a foreign professional corporation registered to transact business in this state must
contain the words "professional corporation" or the abbreviation "P.C."
or "PC" and shall otherwise conform to any rule promulgated by a licensing authority
having jurisdiction of a professional service described in the certificate of formation of

corporation shall be entitled to register under Article 7 of Chapter 1 for authority to render
professional services in Alabama only if: (1) A professional corporation incorporated under
this chapter would be allowed to register or procure a certificate of authority or equivalent

Section 34-2-36 Penalties; hearing; enforcement; appeal. (a) On or after April 28, 1999, any
person who knowingly, willfully, or intentionally violates any provision of this chapter shall
be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Each day of violation shall constitute a distinct and
separate offense. (b) When it appears to the board that any person is violating any of the
provisions of this chapter, the board may in its own name bring an action in the circuit court

Section 34-1-6 Registration of firms of certified public accountants. (a) A firm engaged in
this state in the practice of public accounting may register with the board as a firm of certified
public accountants provided it meets all of the following requirements: (1) At least 51 percent

grounds for revocation of license or suspension of license for a definite period of time,
