Section 10A-2-2.08 Incorporation by purchasers of property or franchise of corporation. REPEALED IN THE 2019 REGULAR SESSION BY ACT 2019-94 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2020. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. The purchaser or purchasers at any sale, public or private, of the property or franchises of any corporation, if not a corporation authorized by the laws of this state to purchase and hold the property of the corporation, may, within 30 days after the sale and conveyance, become incorporated under this chapter and the purchaser or purchasers may associate with himself or herself or themselves the requisite number of other persons to become incorporated. Section 11-54B-11 District management corporation limits, powers, and duties. (a) District management corporations shall be incorporated under the Alabama Nonprofit Corporation Act (Chapter 3A of Title 10) and shall exercise their powers in a manner consistent with such act.
