Section 41-10-541 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this division, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPROPRIATED FUNDS. Net TVA payments to the extent such payments are pledged and appropriated to the authority pursuant to Section 41-10-550. (2) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to this division. Section 31-11-2 National Guard Mutual Assistance Counter-Drug Activities Compact. The National Guard Mutual Assistance Counter-Drug Activities Compact is enacted into law and entered with all other jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: NATIONAL GUARD MUTUAL ASSISTANCE COUNTER-DRUG ACTIVITIES COMPACT ARTICLE I As used in this compact, the following words shall have the following meanings: 1. Section 37-6-3 Enumerated powers. A cooperative shall have the power: (1) To sue and be sued in its corporate name. (2) To adopt a corporate seal and alter the same at its pleasure.
