A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Relating to public K-12 education; to require local boards of
education to provide feminine hygiene products in women's bathrooms of certain schools at
no cost to students. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. (a) Commencing
with the 2021-2022 scholastic year, each local board of education shall provide, in the women's
restrooms of each school building under the jurisdiction of the board, where any student in
grades five through 12 is enrolled and at no cost to students, feminine hygiene products.
(b) For the purposes of this section, feminine hygiene products include sanitary napkins and
