This bill would revise the circumstances in which a person's parole or probation may be revoked. This bill would provide that counties are not financially responsible for the health care expenses while housing a parolee or probationer in a county jail. This bill would require the Department of Corrections to establish three regional state-owned facilities for the confinement of parole or probation violators.
