areas of the state. This bill would include computer science teachers in the program. This
bill would allow teachers certified in another field of study, who complete a program in math,
science, or computer science at a baccalaureate or master's level and earn certification in
math, science, or computer science; qualified teachers who teach in Alabama but reside in
other state; and individuals issued an Alabama bachelor's level professional educator certificate
in math, science, or computer science pursuant to an alternative certification program to

concealed carry permits may be issued statewide and would create a state concealed carry permit
information system by which relevant data may be maintained and provided to law enforcement.
