This bill would add one additional trustee of the board for an employee of an employer participating pursuant to Section 36-27-6 and one additional trustee of the board for an employee or retiree of an employer participating pursuant to Section 36-27-6. This bill would also include diversity language for the board and would allow a trustee who retires from active service after appointment or election to continue to serve until the expiration of the trustee's term.
