firearms, to further provide for the sale or trade in of the firearms to gun dealers licensed
in this state. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:Section 1. Section 3 of Act 2007-325
of the 2007 Regular Session, now appearing as Section 45-26-231.02 of the Code of Alabama
1975, is amended to read as follows: §45-26-231.02. "(a) The sheriff shall keep and
maintain a separate permanent record of all abandoned and stolen firearms, not subject to

This bill would revise the definition of beer. Also under existing law, suppliers and wholesalers
of beer are subject to laws governing their franchise agreements. This bill would require
all beverages sold by a manufacturer or supplier to a wholesaler to be subject to the laws

his or her blood. This bill would also provide that a chemical test may be used to determine
whether a person was driving under the influence. Under current law, only a physician, a registered
nurse, or other qualifying person may withdraw blood for a chemical test of a person's blood.

a rate of six and one-half percent of net income and allowed to deduct federal income taxes
paid or accrued during the taxpayer’s tax year. Under existing law, corporate income taxpayers
are taxed at a rate equal to six and one-half percent of taxable income and allowed to deduct
federal income taxes paid or accrued within the year. Under existing law, the apportionment
factor for most corporate income taxpayers is calculated using a three-factor apportionment
formula, with the sales factor double-weighted. The 2017 federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act eliminated
or limited business deductions and created new classes of income for corporate income taxpayers.
Since Alabama is a rolling conformity state, Alabama automatically conforms to many of the
