the county commission to establish a mail renewal fee in the probate office for the issuance
and mailing of business licenses renewed by mail and to provide for a convenience fee per
transaction made on the Internet or by other electronic means in the probate office on the
payment for the renewal of a motor vehicle license plate registration. BE IT ENACTED BY THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. In addition to all other fees and costs provided by law,
the Washington County Commission may establish a mail renewal fee in the probate office in
the amount of up to five dollars ($5) for the issuance, renewal, and mailing of each business
license renewed by mail. The mail renewal fee shall be collected and deposited in the Washington

The bank is authorized to make loans to units of government to construct, operate, or own
transportation projects. The bank is authorized to raise funds for qualified projects by the
