TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend Section 32-10-7, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to motor vehicles;
to provide that the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency may disclose motor vehicle accident
reports under certain circumstances. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:Section 1.
Section 32-10-7, Code of Alabama 1975, is amended to read as follows: §32-10-7. "(a)
Every law enforcement officer who in the regular course of duty investigates a motor vehicle
accident, either at the time of and at the scene of the accident or thereafter by interviewing
participants or witnesses, shall, within 24 hours after completing such investigation, forward
the necessary completed written report or copy thereof of such accident to the director on
the uniform accident report form supplied by the director. "(b) Accident reports filed

SYNOPSIS: This bill would provide for expanded civil liability for injuries resulting from
acts of terrorism. This bill would provide for the forfeiture of all property used in the
course of, or derived from, an act of terrorism. This bill would authorize a person injured
by an act of terrorism and law enforcement agencies or private entities involved in the investigation,
prosecution, mitigation, seizure, or forfeiture process for acts of terrorism to file a claim
for costs or damages to be satisfied from forfeited property. This bill would provide for
the allocation of proceeds from a forfeiture and disposition, and would specify that investigation
expenses must be paid first. This bill would provide a limitation period for asserting a claim

Rd 1 07-FEB-17 SYNOPSIS: Currently, Alabama does not have a state minimum wage law. This bill
establishes a state minimum wage for Alabama; provides for the enforcement of this act by
the Secretary of the Alabama Department of Labor; and also provides for civil penalties for
violating the provisions of this act. This bill would provide that tipped employees' wages
may not fall below 30 percent of the minimum wage at any time. The bill would provide for
an increase commencing on January 1, 2020, and every three years thereafter based on the Consumer
Price Index for July 1 of the year preceding the year of the increase. The bill would require
the State Finance Director to notify the Alabama Department of Labor in writing between October
1 and October 15 each year preceding a wage adjustment of the percentage to be used for the
cost-of-living adjustment for the next three calendar years. This bill...

that certain persons who make false claims or commit fraud against the Medicaid program would
be liable to the state for three times the amount of damage sustained, a civil penalty, and
any associated costs, including attorneys' fees. This bill would provide for the responsibilities
of the Attorney General and private individuals in investigating and proceeding against violators
