BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. This act only applies in the Town of Thomaston in Marengo County. Section 2. The sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays is authorized within the corporate limits of the town. The governing body of the town, by ordinance, may regulate and permit the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday by properly licensed retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board who are responsible vendors. Section 3. This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
