SB317 By Senators Allen and Waggoner ENROLLED, An Act, Relating to athlete agents, to enact the Revised Uniform Athlete Agents Act, to provide for the registration of athlete agents and the regulation of the relationship between athlete agents and student athletes; to provide definitions, licensing requirements, reciprocal licensing, agency contract requirements, notification requirements, criminal and civil penalties, and civil remedies; and, in this connection, to add Chapter 26B (commencing with Section 8-26B-1), and repeal Chapter 26A (commencing with Section 8-26A-1) of, Title 8 of the Code of Alabama 1975; and in connection therewith would have as its purpose or effect the requirement of a new or increased expenditure of local funds within the meaning of Amendment 621 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, now appearing as Section 111.05 of the Official Recompilation of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended.
