would propose an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, to allow a concealed pistol
permit holder to carry a concealed pistol upon his or her person while the permit holder is
on the campus of a public institution of higher education or a private institution of higher
education. The amendment would allow public institutions of higher education or private institutions
of higher education to establish rules concerning the storage of pistols in dormitories or
other residential facilities that are owned or leased and operated by the institution and
located on the campus of the institution and to further limit the carrying of pistols on campus
under certain conditions. This amendment would also provide immunity for public and private

redistricting commission, to establish legislative and State Board of Education districts
after each United States census. This bill would provide for the appointment of members to
the redistricting commission. This bill would prohibit state legislators and members of the
State Board of Education from attempting to influence members of the redistricting commission
when establishing district boundaries. This bill would also require the Permanent Legislative
Committee on Reapportionment to provide data, maps, and technical assistance to the redistricting

18 years. Torture or willful abuse of a child under age 18 is a Class C felony. Existing law
also provides for the crime of aggravated child abuse when a person commits repeated acts
of physical or mental abuse of a child or causes serious physical injury. Aggravated child
abuse is a Class B felony. This bill would create the crime of aggravated child abuse of a
child under age six to apply when a person commits repeated acts of physical or mental abuse
or causes serious physical injury to a child under age six. This bill would make aggravated
