This bill would include in the definition of locksmith a person who deactivates locks on motor vehicles or buildings. This bill would also require licensure of such persons by the Alabama Electronic Security Board of Licensure. A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Relating to locksmiths; to amend Section 34-1A-1, Code of Alabama 1975, by including in the definition of locksmith a person who deactivates locks on motor vehicles or buildings, and by requiring licensure of such persons by the Alabama Electronic Security Board of Licensure.
