By Representative Hill (M) HB91 ENROLLED, An Act, To amend Section 27-7-5.1, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to insurance sold by motor vehicle rental companies, to specify that a licensed motor vehicle rental company may authorize and pay compensation to an employee or authorized representative of the company to offer or sell insurance coverage without the employee or authorized representative being individually licensed; and to further provide for the compensation of employees and representatives relating to insurance coverage purchases by customers. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:Section 1. Section 27-7-5.1, Code of Alabama 1975, is amended to read as follows: §27-7-5.1. "(a) As used in this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings: "(1) RENTAL AGREEMENT.
