This bill would authorize a circuit or district judge to allow video testimony to be taken from representatives of the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences upon motion of either party. This bill would provide requirements for the video testimony to be admissible as evidence and would specify that the party requesting the testimony would bear the costs associated with the video testimony.
