This bill would provide that organizers and spectators would be guilty of the offense, would increase the penalties for drag racing, and would provide for impoundment or seizure of vehicles involved in illegal drag racing under certain circumstances. In addition, the vehicle of a person charged with drag racing who has previously been convicted of the offense would be subject to forfeiture.
