County; to provide for the annual salary of the sheriff. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE
OF ALABAMA: Section 1. Pursuant to Amendment No. 362 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901,
now appearing as Section 7 of the Lee County Local Amendments of the Official Recompilation
of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, the annual salary of the Sheriff of Lee County shall
be one hundred thousand seven hundred dollars ($100,700) which shall be paid in the same manner
and at the same time as other county employees. Section 2. The salary provided in this act
shall be in lieu of any other salary provided by general or local law. Section 3. This act
shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval

personal vehicles to transport the TNC riders on a prearranged ride. This bill would authorize
the operation of a TNC in the state and would require the Alabama Public Service Commission
to issue annual permits for a fee and to promulgate rules consistent with this act. This bill
would provide for fares charged for a prearranged ride and would require the TNC to send an
electronic receipt of the fees charged to the TNC rider. This bill would require certain TNC
and TNC driver insurance requirements, including TNC and insurer disclosure requirements regarding

sold at a tax sale to one other than the state is required to pay interest on the tax due
and on the excess bid at the tax sale. This bill would require the person desiring to redeem
the land to deposit with the judge of probate the amount for which the land was sold, with
interest payable only on the amount of tax due on the date of the sale. This bill would reduce
the interest payable on land sold for unpaid tax, insurance premiums, permanent improvements,
and the value of all preservation improvements. This bill would provide for retroactive effect.
