This bill would further specify that a municipality could only enforce certain ordinances, collect license fees, and levy and collect taxes within its police jurisdiction after providing notice to affected persons. This bill would require that if an annexation results in a portion of a county-maintained street being within the police jurisdiction of a municipality being bound on at least two sides by a municipal street, the municipality would assume responsibility for that portion of the county-maintained street.
