RFD Baldwin County Legislation Rd 1 18-MAR-15 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Relating to Baldwin
County; to authorize each member of the county commission to employ an administrative secretary;
and to provide that the administrative secretaries would be exempt from any county merit system.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. In Baldwin County, each member of
the county commission may appoint one person to serve as administrative secretary to the county
commissioner during his or her term of office. Prior to employment, a county commissioner
shall submit the name of the person to be employed to the Baldwin County Commission for approval.
The administrative secretary shall be exempt from the county merit system, shall serve at
the pleasure of the appointing county commissioner, and may be removed at will by the appointing

would create the Division of State Forestry within the Department of Agriculture, Forestry,

property, and other effects of the State Forestry Commission to the Division of State Forestry.
