purchase a stamp from the judge of probate or another agent authorized by the Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources in order to hunt waterfowl. The fee for the stamp is five
dollars. This bill would raise the fee for the waterfowl stamp to ten dollars and would authorize
periodic adjustment of the stamp fee by the department based on the Consumer Price Index in
the same manner as other hunting and fishing licenses. A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT To amend

the federal Unified Carrier Registration Act of 2005 (UCRA) in the state and collects the
assessments associated with administration of the UCRA. Also under existing law, certain law
enforcement responsibilities of the Public Service Commission relating to motor carrier functions
were transferred to the newly created Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). This bill would
transfer the enforcement responsibility of the UCRA to ALEA and the administration of the
UCRA to the Department of Revenue. This bill would also provide that the Department of Revenue
would collect the fees associated with registration of UCRA and administer the provisions
