increase for employees of the state two-year colleges and technical schools, beginning with
the first payday on October 1, 2015. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section
1. (a) Beginning with the first payday on October 1, 2015, all employees of the state two-year
colleges and technical schools except those set out in subsection (b) shall receive a four
percent increase in his or her compensation. (b) This act shall not apply to any Merit System
employee or hourly employee whose service or rate of pay is covered by any labor agreement
