ENROLLED, An Act,

Relating to Wilcox County; providing for an additional expense allowance for the tax assessor and tax collector after his or her 15th year of service.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:

Section 1. (a) This act shall apply only in Wilcox County.

(b) The tax assessor and tax collector of the county who has served for 15 or more years in the respective office shall each be entitled to receive an additional expense allowance in the amount of seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) per annum, which shall be payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.

(c) The expense allowance provided herein shall be in addition to any and all other expense allowances provided by law.

Section 2. This act shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
