Body: | Section 34-43-4 Regulated activities. Except as specifically provided by this chapter, beginning January 1, 1997, no person may do any of the following unless licensed pursuant to this chapter: (1) Advertise that he or she performs therapeutic massage or related touch therapy modalities. (2) Hold himself or herself out to the public as a massage therapist, using any name or description denoting himself or herself as a massage therapist, or purporting to have the skills necessary to perform massage therapy.
