| Body: | Section 34-17A-12 Persons licensed or certified in other states. The board shall issue a license by examination of credentials to any person licensed or certified as a marriage and family therapist in another state which has requirements for licensure that are equivalent to or exceed the requirements of this state, provided the applicant submits an application on forms prescribed by the board and pays the original licensure fee prescribed by this chapter.
