Body: | Section 14-3-16 Penalty for violation of chapter. Any person who violates any provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $500 and may also be imprisoned in the county jail or sentenced to hard labor for a term not exceeding six months, in the discretion of the judge trying the case.
