| Body: | Section 11-72-5 Ownership and maintenance of trees. The Class 2 municipality and other governmental subdivisions and agencies of the state, shall continue to be the owners of and, subject to the provisions hereof, continue to be responsible for the maintenance of and care for all trees on publicly owned property, and the Tree Commission shall have no duties other than those specifically provided in the chapter.
