Body: | Section 11-51-17 Sales of property for payment of taxes, etc., generally - Purchase of property by municipality. The city or town may become the purchaser at such sale, and the officer making the purchase shall bid a sum sufficient to pay the full amounts due for taxes, assessments filed, interest, and costs, and the amount due the city or town shall be allowed as a credit on such purchase.
