| Body: | Section 11-50-144 Calling of election. Such election, if ordered by the resolution of the board of aldermen or other governing body of the city or town, shall be called by the mayor or other chief executive officer of such city or town to be held on the day fixed by the said resolution of the board of aldermen or other governing body of the city or town, which day shall not be less than 30 days from the day of the passage of the said resolution ordering the election.
