Body: | Section 45-41-231 Receipt of badge, pistol, etc. upon retirement. (a) This section shall apply only to Lee County. (b) Any person employed as a commissioned deputy of the Sheriff's Office of Lee County for a period of 10 years or more who upon retirement leaves the office in good standing shall receive from the office, without cost to him or her, a retired badge, a retired commission card, and his or her service pistol.
