| Body: | Section 45-35A-54.28 Prohibited political activities. It shall be unlawful for any candidate for office, or any officer in the city, directly or indirectly, to give or promise any person or persons an office, position, employment, benefit, or anything of value for the purpose of influencing or obtaining the political support, aid, or vote of any person or persons, or for any candidate to provide or use any hacks, automobiles, or other vehicles for the purpose of transporting voters to the polls on election day.
