Funding.

Beginning with the 2020-2021 fiscal year, the DeKalb County Commission shall appropriate annually funds accruing from the filing and recording fees levied by Resolution 92-1013-05, adopted by the county commission on October 13, 1992, as follows:

(1) One-half of the funds accruing shall be appropriated annually to the Etowah-DeKalb Cherokee Mental Health Board, Inc., doing business as CED Mental Health Center, to be used to employ mental health professionals in DeKalb County.

(2) One-half of the funds accruing shall be appropriated annually to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office to be used to employ school resource officers in the city and county schools in the county.
