| Body: | Section 45-21-100.01 Superintendent of Education. (a) The Crenshaw County Board of Education shall appoint the Superintendent of Education of Crenshaw County pursuant to the general law of the state. The county superintendent of education shall possess all the qualifications prescribed for county superintendents of education by the general laws of the state. (b) Vacancies in the office of Superintendent of Education of Crenshaw County shall be filled by appointment of the county board of education. (c) This section shall apply at the expiration of the term of office of the current county superintendent of education or upon any vacancy occurring in the office of the county superintendent of education after August 1, 2013.
