Body: | Section 41-9-926 Acceptance of gifts, grants, etc.; tax exempt; entrance fees; concessions. The board may solicit and accept public or private donations, grants, contributions, property, or services, and all gifts made to the board shall be exempt from all taxation in Alabama. The board is authorized to set and charge reasonable entrance fees to view the museum and related exhibits. The board may also provide for concessions in accordance with state law and charge or receive reasonable fees therefor. (Acts 1993, 1st Ex. Sess., No. 93-893, p. 177, ยง7.) |
