(Repealed effective October 1, 1996) Department of revenue to furnish list of registrants.

On or before January 1 of each year, the State Department of Revenue shall furnish to the sheriff of each county of the State of Alabama an alphabetically arranged list of the names and addresses of all persons who have during the previous year registered antique motor vehicles with the department, giving a description of the motor vehicle so registered and the number of the "antique vehicle" license plates or tags issued therefor. It shall be the duty of the sheriffs of the state to maintain and keep current such lists for public information and inquiry.
