Body: | Section 26-19B-3 Emergency missing child alert - Criteria. When a missing child report is given to a local law enforcement agency and every person accountable for the care of a child under 18 years of age, including, but not limited to, parents, grandparents, other relatives, teachers, or other caregivers, has been contacted and confirms that the whereabouts of the child is unknown, the local law enforcement agency shall immediately request an emergency missing child alert, if the criteria adopted by the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency have been met.
